William Doonan

 
                       


William Doonan is a writer and professor of anthropology in Sacramento, California.  He is an active field archaeologist with years of experience conducting excacations in Costa Rica, Honduras, and Peru.  Doonan is also a veteran cruise ship lecturer, traveling the world and leading discussions on archaeology, history, and culture.  His first novel, Grave Passage, was published in 2009 by The Glencannon Press.

Grave Passage recounts the adventures of Henry Grave, an octogenarian detective who solves crimes on cruise ships.  The sequel, Mediterranean Grave, is currently in the works.
